Robby Mook was the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. Originally from Vermont, he began working in politics as a volunteer for the state representative campaign of Matt Dunne, who was Mook's high school theatre teacher at the time. He is known for maintaining an easy going atmosphere and managing campaigns that are driven by data. He made history by being the first openly gay manager of a US presidential campaign. At 16, he was running phone banks in his native New Hampshire for Clinton’s re-election campaign. By 23, he was running Howard Dean’s presidential campaign in New Hampshire. At 27, he secured key victories in three states for Hillary’s unsuccessful 2008 bid for the Democratic nomination. He has a degree in Classics from Columbia University.
